The Slenderman is a FICTIONAL creation by Victor Surge made a few years ago for a ghost picture contest on the somethingawful forum. He is tall, has no face, sometimes wearing a hat and always wears a black suit and tie. He can distort and reshape his body to various lengths and grow aditional limbs if necessary. For various reasons he takes people, most favourably children. And they are never seen again. He is fond of hiding in fog and forests, adding a creepy atmoshpere to his appearance. Marble Hornets, the Youtbe Series, boosted his fame and popularity. and sicen then his fanbase has grown incredibly. So much that it has become unstable, and obnoxious in my opinion.
