The Silence are a religious order featured in the popular BBC science-fiction show Doctor Who.
Not only do I love Doctor Who, but I love the Silence for their original yet Slender Man like appearance.
They have distored facial features, large heads and long fingers. They are tall and wear suits of an odd material.
They assist in manipulating a progression of a species, in this case, the human race. And subconsciously insert messages into peoples heads. The number of them seems almost unlimited as they seem to share the Earth with us. We see them all the time, but as soon as we turn our head we instantly forget their existence. Clever huh?
Although they greatly resemble the Slender Man, they were inspired more by the famous Scream painting and reports of the Men In Black.
